CSSA and CHSA join forces to showcase the brightest ideas in the Cleaning Industry

Called the ‘Innovation Showcase’ the event will celebrate the industry’s most innovative products, services and initiatives.

It’s being held on the 15th March at The Brewery in the City of London and is being sponsored by The Cleaning & Hygiene Suppliers Association (CHSA).

Preceding the showcase on the 12th February there will be a ‘Dragon’s Den’ panel of leading industry figures to select the innovations that will “showcase” at the main event. All applicants will be given an opportunity to convince the panel that their innovation should make the cut.

Stephen Harrison, Chairman of the CHSA and Managing Director of Harrison Wipes, said; “Innovation is the lifeblood of our members, and we applaud the CSSA’s initiative in establishing this Innovation Showcase and are delighted to sponsor it.  We’re encouraging our members to shout about their innovations and achievements and apply to be part of the Innovation Showcase.”

CSSA Marketing Director, Sean Taylor said;  “Last year we held the inaugural CSSA Awards at the Cleaning Show, and we wanted something for this year that showcased bright ideas and innovation and that’s why we’re holding this showcase. I urge people across the industry to take part. It should be great fun, but it will also be an opportunity to share great ideas with others.”

There’ll be a keynote speech at the event by Mark Meadows, the Innovation Champion at Marks & Spencer, and CSSA members, their guests, as well as a whole host of leading professionals in the cleaning industry will be in attendance.

If you’d like to take part in the Innovation Showcase it’s simple.  There is no predetermined format or template for entries.   Companies just need to prepare a submission that captures the innovation at the heart of their product or service.

Entries need to be sent to John Findlater at the CSSA (john.findlater@cleaningta.org) by close of business on 29 January.
