MURDER MYSTERY SOLVED – CSSA Women’s Group Charity event

The CSSA Women’s Group recently held a Charity event in the City of London. Breast Cancer Care, recognised throughout the month of October, along with Safer Places supporting those suffering domestic abuse, were the chosen charities to benefit who have both benefitted from a donation of £650 each.

The clever ‘Cluedo’ style clues took the budding Sherlock Holmes of the Cleaning Industry around the City. Their quest was to solve the gruesome murder of John Findlater cast as John the caretaker. His portly corpse was found in a refuse bin near Pudding Lane, after touching a few too many nerves with his jokes and storytelling.

The event was generously supported by cleaning industry colleagues including;  i-Recycle, Pearroc Ltd, Complete Washroom Solutions, Jangro, Bunzl, Metsa, Birkin, C&M, Tomorrow’s Cleaning, Progress Cleaning Services, V Recruitment, Darwin Clayton, Safety Solutions, LWC Ltd, Bio Productions, Polyco Healthline and Safer Space.

The teams of 4 ‘detectives’ used the sneaky clues to eliminate the innocent members of the CSSA Board and Women’s Group Committee who were all suspected of this heinous crime. They finally found the guilty party and the weapon they used when committing the act. The team with the correct answers and the best time was Team A from Incentive QAS. The team dragging everyone else down was the Birkin Boys who it was thought were side tracked into a number of local hostelries along the route with time penalties.

The event was completed at Crime Headquarters, The Liberty Bound, Tower Hill, with the teams rewarded with a light buffet for their efforts. Watch out as we consider the next instalment arresting our murderer, who is proving allusive in being caught and considering our next case…!!

A big thank you to everyone who contributed to making the evening such a great success for charity.
