Dear Friends, Members and Colleagues
With 2020 fast coming to a close I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for your interest and support in what has not been an easy year for any of us.
Our Members and Industry Colleagues have encountered extraordinary challenges this year as the pandemic impacted everyone and every organisation.
The CSSA rose to the challenge, supporting members in a number of new ways. Your secretariat with its regular updates on matters affecting our businesses and employees, and CSSA Executive Bodies who met regularly to share experiences and solutions, which were communicated to all interested parties. A big thank you to all who played a part and openly shared their perspective.
This year has been an exacting one. On a personal level we have had to get used to social distancing, face masks, working from home, virtual meetings and restrictions in many aspects of our normal daily lives. In business terms we have had to adapt to everchanging pressures in the market, from unprecedented change requirements to overnight closures in some business areas. Adaptability, ingenuity, collaboration and innovation the order of the day.
During this holiday season, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and to you and your loved ones a peaceful, healthy and prosperous New Year – one where the Executive team and I look forward to supporting you, your organisation and the Cleaning Industry in 2021 with more great benefits and a return to CSSA Member Events.
