Innovation and technology forms such a strong part of the CSSA that we have an Innovations Executive to champion innovation in the sector. The Executive was set up and formed by Darren Marston and more recently led by Paul Ashton. The Innovation Executive team are real thought leaders in the cleaning industry and this Innovations Day became a reality from a recommendation from Kevin Meighan, one of the team members. Innovation is inclusive – a new method, a new idea, a new product. There are no limits as what could be regarded as innovation and in our experience it does not have to be something huge to have a big impact.

The process of the Innovation Showcase begins with an entry. All entrants present to the Dragon’s Den, a panel of the leading UK cleaning industry experts on 22nd or 23rd January 2020. Following a concise presentation at our Dragon’s Den event, the applicants will face questioning and testing of their innovations for the chance to win the industry award.
