Our cleaning community.
Our regional community groups, Rising Stars and Clean Start connect and celebrate the people who make professional cleaning work.

People · Clean Start
Changing how people see cleaning.
Clean Start shows school leavers, graduates and career changers what modern cleaning really involves: robotics, artificial intelligence, sustainable chemicals and real routes to leadership.
The sector contributes over £71bn to the UK economy and employs around 1.5 million people. Clean Start makes sure the next generation knows it.
Next generation
Celebrating the people who make it work.
Rising Stars
Rising Stars celebrates people early in their careers who are already raising the bar, from supervisors and operatives to managers and specialists.
Finalists are recognised at our events and in member spotlights through the year.
Volunteer in schools
Members help change perceptions by talking to students through Inspiring the Future, in schools and colleges near them.
Share your team's story with #cssacleanstart, or email admin@cssa-uk.co.uk to get involved.
Clean Start
Changing minds, one classroom at a time.
They came in unsure, and they’re leaving inspired. That says everything.
